  • Apples. Often associated with the fall season, apples are available year-round and continue to thrive in the month of April. This versatile fruit can add a sweet or tart flavor to any dish.
  • Cherries. This berry marks its sweet arrival in April. The cherry season is rather short, so be sure to get them while you can. Even though they’re small, cherries pack a punch of flavor and nutrients.
  • Grapefruits. While we say goodbye to other citrus fruits this month, grapefruits continue to grace our fruit bowls in April. The slightly bitter acidity is perfect for waking up your taste buds in the morning.
  • Limes. This tangy member of the citrus family is still in season in April. The zesty flavor can add a refreshing twist to your meals.
  • Strawberries. Spring strawberries might not be as sweet as the summer version, but you can get a head start on enjoying this bright red berry in April.
  • Pineapple. Spring marks peak pineapple season! Get your fill on this juicy, tropical fruit this month to enjoy the best flavors.
