Weekend Herb Blogging #252

Voting for Project Food Blog challenge #2 is now open. I had a great time cooking and writing about Ethiopian food for the challenge. If you’d like to vote for my blog to advance to the next round, you can do so here. Thanks a bunch!

I always enjoy hosting Weekend Herb Blogging. From Athens to Manhattan, here’s what some very creative folks around the world cooked up for for Weekend Herb Blogging #252.

Joanne (NYC) from Eats Well with Others submitted this unbelievably gorgeous Homemade Sausage and Roasted Red Pepper Lentil Stew.

Brii (Italy) from Brii Blog in English made this incredibly pretty Peach Jam with Ginger and Salvia.

Rachel from Rachel’s Bite in Chicago sent in these fabulous Latin-Rubbed Pork Loin Chops with Chimichurri.

Yasmeen blogs in Ohio at Health Nut. She prepared this delectable-looking Grilled Tuna, Sauteed Mushrooms and Bulgur Pilaf.

Graziana (also from Italy) writes the blog Erbe in Cucina. She combined sweet and spicy flavors in this beautiful Chili and Cantaloupe Jam.

Janet from The Taste Space in Toronta, Canada made this amazingly lovely (and healthy!) Pomegranate Glazed Salmon.

Johanna resides in Athens and blogs at Food Junkie. She made this stunning (and I’m quite sure flavor-packed) Carrot Courgette Pie.

Haalo from Australia and the blog Cook Almost Anything experimented with rhubarb in this gorgeous savory Rhubarb and Apple Chutney.

Here in New York’s Hudson Valley, I blended up bananas, fresh figs, and coconut milk to make this Fresh Fig and Banana Smoothie.

Thanks to everyone for participating in this week’s edition of Weekend Herb Blogging. Simone from Briciole is next week’s host…please see Haalo’s Blog for more information.
