Almost Silent Sunday: My Pups and Links I Loved This Week

Have you all met my dogs? Jake is my sweet yellow labrador rescue and Jezebel is my lovely leonberger. These two are the best of friends and had a blast playing in the snowstorm we got last week! I love these photos I took of them, and hope you will, too. At the end of this post, you’ll find a selection of links to articles I’ve read recently, that I think you should read, too. Oh, and don’t forget to enter my Blue Canning Jars Giveaway! Cheers to a wonderful Sunday/St. Paddy’s Day.

  1. Wonderful pups. And one a rescue. We have 2 rescue dogs and they are the best. Our first is a standard poodle and the second is mostly golden retriever. The poodle was abused and it took a while for us to get him to trust us. But the time to do that was certainly worth it. I can’t imagine a home without at least one pup.

  3. My dog is old and though healthy now I know that could turn at any moment. I contemplate not having a pet for the first time I can remember; maybe thinking I would enjoy the freedom. Then I see photos like yours and I just melt. I just love dogs; I’m not sure I could really live well without one.

    • I hear you, Barb. Jezebel is 8 and leonbergers don’t have a terribly long life span so I have the same thoughts. What would life be like without the dog hair everywhere? Without the overturned garbage bin everyday? Without the mayhem that is just daily life with these 2 big lugs? But then I just think I can’t not have dogs. I love them too much!

  4. I just love Jake and Jezebel. I remember seeing the photo of Jezebel the other day on FB and was amazed by her beauty:))They must love playing in the snow. happy Sunday to you, my friend. xx
