1. Gazing at flowers.

2. Discovering I can still do a flip into the pool despite Maddie telling me I am too old (ok so I did not completely make it over in the picture you see here, but I came pretty close). Thank you Kim for the photo!

3. Spending a fun day in a city I haven’t visited in over twenty years (Philadelpia).

4. Going for walks in the shade.

5. Salads from the garden (I made this one with shaved heirloom zucchini, baby greens, shelled peas, chopped lemon balm, borage flowers, and pickled radishes).

What are you loving about the summer so far?

Great post, you can do a flip?! I’m loving the garden, fresh berries and lots of time at the beach this summer.

I am completely with you on these things. They sure do look like noteworthy activities. I’d put swims in the lake and trips to the Cape on my list. Yay for summer!

Gorgeous salad and great form over the pool there! I love summer, it is my favourite season. All the fresh local fruits and veggies, the company that comes to visit, the company we go to visit. Warm nights, cool mornings and hot days :)

Right now I am loving posts like these that come in the summer time! Borage flowers- edible? What do they taste like? I also love how long the days are. That is my favorite part of summer.

Well put! All things that I love as well….except for the flipping. You’re a lot braver than I!

My daughter made the gluten free zucchini bread muffins today and they turned out great. She was excited to look at more recipes. I was discouraged to see some of the language and swear words that were used in the blogs posts which was unfortunate when trying to encourage healthy eating. I was disappointed to be honest especially when the words do not make a more powerful statement.

    Hi Tammy,
Sorry if I offended you in any way. I can’t think of too many instances where that would be the case, but again, my apologies. I will be more aware of that going forward, I promise.
