I got home very late last night from one of the most fun-filled weekends ever. My cousin Stephanie married her sweetheart Dave in Sayulita, Mexico, and I was fortunate enough to be there, along with many members of my immediate and extended family.

Sayulita is a fun and funky beach town where we enjoyed amazing hospitality, and were gifted with perfect weather. It was a much needed, completely “unplugged” couple of days packed with sun, sand, boating, and lots of lots of food: I fell in love with jackfruit from my very first taste, enjoyed green smoothies made with cactus, and feasted on the best guacamole, salsas, and fish tacos ever. I might have had a few margaritas, too :)

In addition, I read three terrific books, and took about 500 photos! I haven’t had a chance to go through them all yet, but here are some of my favorites so far…I’ll share some more later this week.
